Question: We are trying to keep feral hogs out of a 12 acre hay field.Β We are planning to place a two strand main electric fenceΒ with an outerΒ perimeter single strand placed six feet parallel (a warning barrier) between the two electric fencing.Β We will be using 12 1/2 gauge fencing wire.Β What is the recommended Cyclops joules on this setup for feral hogs? Answer: For 12 acres and only 2 strands, I would use the Champ or Brute... Use plenty of ground rods and keep the fence clean. Thanks www.cyclopsfence.com
